Robert Douglas Ortman is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  Before opening this practice in 1999, he worked as the Senior Negotiating Attorney for one of the largest Personal Injury Firms in Georgia and received the Book Award for excellence in Negotiation from the Director of the Practicing Law Institute.
 
His practice is focused on lemon law claims and consumer rights cases throughout the entire State of Florida.  With nearly $4 million dollars in lemon law cases settled in less than 4 years, the Law Office of Robert Douglas Ortman is one of the largest and most experienced firms in the State.  Since the practice began, Mr. Ortman has been elected as Honorary Co-Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee and Business Advisory Council and has received the Businessman of the Year and National Leadership Awards. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, an organization of over 800 attorneys dedicated to protecting the rights of consumers throughout the United States, and is a member of the consumer protection law committee of the Florida Bar Association.

His hobbies include writing, boating, and scuba diving.
